The Cider song</u>

I went to a party, you know how this ends,
There's drinking and dancing and singing with friends.
At the end of the night when we ran out of beer,
We remembered the morning and started to fear.

But I wasn't drinking!

Of the casks of cider they poisoned just one,
And that put a damper on everyone's fun.
Nothing could fix it, the healers were lost,
Oh, drinking that night had a terrible cost.

But I wasn't drinking!

Drinking is dangerous, don't take the chance,
Better enjoy all the song and the dance.
You take good advice, all through the day,
At the end of the night you get sick anyway!

So what's wrong with drinking?
This is a song written by my character, Maya, about the an event earlier this year.

Some bloody greenskin (who shall remain nameless) put it into my character's head that she should write songs. Now the diary I've been keeping for her has a song at the end of every entry. I thought I'd put them up here for the curious. For those who couldn't care less, I'll end each title with -Maya- so they won't even have to bother looking!

Ha! I'd hate to discover that a flask/cask is poisoned. A major "whoops, uhm?" moment. :D
