This line was quoted to me in a dream, and I dearly want to know the background to it but, it being a dream, I don't even know if there is any. So what can I do? Forget about it? Never!

Instead I challenge anyone who reads this to write me the story that this quote is from. Who was this girl? How did her fear shape foreign policy, and whose foreign policy did it shape? I'm dying to know!

Before Christmas I started up a blog in which I talk about depression. It's basically my way of saying "I suffer from depression. If you do too then don't feel like you're all alone in there, there are others out there going through the same thing. And trust me, we can make it."

I posted it on my facebook for all my friends to read, but for some reason I didn't post it up here. I guess maybe it's 'cos I know that some of my real-world friends suffer from depression and would find it helpful, but I don't really know so much about you guys on here. However, I've just posted up my twelfth post and it looks like I'm going to be keeping this up so I'm gonna try to spread this a little bit further.

I found a beautiful empty book in a second-hand shop. My first thought was that it'd be a lovely in-character book for Maya (my fae character in the LT LARP system) but now I'm beginning to think that I'd like it to be for me. The thought occured to me to make a poetry book filled with my favourite poetry from here on dA. I'm not sure how to go about it though. The writing in the poetry bit is straightforward enough, but should I ask permission from each artist first? Given that it's for me only and that I'm going to be being careful to put the artists name (or dA name, at least) after each one is it okay to just write it out without permission? Would it be nice to let them know anyway?

I'm not wondering about the legal side of things, more about what people think is right and good. I know people have wide and varying views on what people have the right to do with their work. I'd like to get some ideas from people about it.
